I have contacted customer care to know how much do I need to pay for this month cycle and customer care provided me wrong amount to be pay then next cycle I have been changed for late fee and service tax. so please do not relay on customer care and better to not use any ICICI credit card and any service. After complaining about the same they are saying we can not do anything we have to pay late fee charges

To be speaking genuinely i have good faith on icici bank and its operations,but today i came to know that what i expected was wrong.Because your employees dont even know how to behave with customers,they are very rude and harsh in reality.As i was withdrawing money from atm machine,but due to machine problem i couid not get the money so i enquired regarding machine working.But one of the employee of the branch replied in a harsh manner and started arguing with me in impolitely...actually i dint expect that behaviour from icici bank employee.....please give training to your employees before giving job as a bank employee in the reputed bank like icici.......plz do take action against that bloody bugger and teach some communication skills

Hi guys please don't use Icici Bank account because the services provided by some branches are very sad. My personal experience today was I visited Icici Bank tardeo ac market branch to withdraw 20k cash through check but the reply I got from the branch employees was no u won't get 20K you can only get 10K and as per our honorable prime minister we can withdraw 24K cash.I think this branch has made a new rule. On top of all this I was asked a question, to which branch ur account belongs to? After hearing the answer from me that it belongs to different branch I got a reply was like Toh us branch se jakar paise nikalo. Was this right way of replying? It also means that if I would have owed an account of that branch then I would have got 20K. I know employees of Icici reading this will consider this as fake but I don't want it to be ignored hence providing the date and time of this incident. Incident took place in Icici Bank tardeo ac market branch, Executive name was Shweta Dated Friday 25 th November 2016 at 12.40 pm

My father died in June leaving my mother as the sole account holder of an ICICI HiSave account. She had never accessed the account online nor had any personal dealings with the bank. She's hard of hearing so asked me to help her in telephone conversations with ICICI. They refused to discuss her account whilst I was present which made it impossible for her to communicate with them. They also said that as it was an online account they could not add me as a joint account holder. My mother wrote to them asking to close her account. At that point they wrote back saying they would make an exception and be able to add me as a joint account holder. My mother declined their offer as the service thus far had been atrocious and reiterated her instruction to close her account. They tried to telephone her to say they could not accept her written instruction. She could barely make out a word the poorly-spoken operator said. When I called back to ask them to repeat what they had said they insisted my mother had to close her account online - which is impossible as she has never accessed it. They have since refused to act on any of her emails as the registered email address for the account was my dead father's. Both my mother and I have written and emailed to complain but one month on have received absolutely no response. At the end of next week we are taking the matter to the Financial Ombudsman and possibly the police. I suggest you avoid this shoddy third-world bank.

I recently compared exchange rates for a number of "exotic currencies" and ICICI consistently came out on top, on exchange rate, availability (believe it or not some banks / currency exchange facilities offer amazing rates, only to declare, eventually, that a particular currency is unavailable!) and free, next day, special delivery. My foreign currencies arrived, as promised, by Royal Mail Special Delivery,before 1pm the following day.. As a guide, the exchange rates offered on these currencies are some 2.5% better than The Post Office. I shall use ICICI again and do not hesitate to recommend them

I recently held a savings account with this bank. Yes, their interest rate was appealing but the service was dire and I mean dire. First of all, it took them over ten days to deposit a very large sum. I say ten days because they may have put it in their little piggy-wiggy bank before they entered me on their system. But the worst was to come. I wanted my savings returned to me promptly hence the reason I had a so called Easy Access Account - a misnomer if ever! I spoke to them on the phone and told them I wished to cancel my account. I was told the following - yes it is true. 'Today is zero day and as we don't work at weekends as such your time will be calculated from Monday. The transfer will therefore take place the following Friday.' In essence 8 days! I informed them that my contract and their web site said two days. But no...he insisted on his zero day and the following five working days. I fired off an email of complaint to their head office. The web site kept asking for a six figure number which they had never given me. Thus I was unable to send it without a number. I did the usual and entered zeroes which seemed to work. Lo and behold three days later the money was transferred to my account! Weeks later, and I mean weeks, I received an email from India which stated: "We understand your concern and regret the inconvenience caused to you. "We would like to inform you that for closure of HiSAVE Account takes 2 working days and transfer of funds takes next 3 working days from the date of request. Hence, we inform the customer, for closure of account will take maximum 5 working days." So when they say two days they don't mean two days. In sharp comparison the ever brilliant Aldermore and Post Office Money effected the transfer within the hour. Now that is what I call service. The moral of the story is: Don't be seduced by an extra quarter percent especially if you want your money returned quickly for buying something major like a house. Finally. I think Mickey Mouse could design a better web site than the ICICI Bank. It is not the easiest site to use. Likewise their call centre. Oh dear! I am so pleased that the likes of Aldermore and Post Office Money are able and competent to use computer technology to its fullest. If I win the lottery I will avoid this bank like the plague!

I only write to appreciate the services provided by ICICI Bank and their website as well. I have been their Customer for over 10 years now and what I like most about them is that they don't send Spam on your Mobile and they don't call you unless you need them, unlike other banks which will not let-go. Off recent, I required Tax Savings FD and as per their Requirement, I provided them the required document and in a Flash that was done, saving me precious time and all I had to do was place a request on the phone. So, keep up the good work.
