JazzCash is one of Pakistan's most popular mobile wallets. The mobile account allows you to easily transfer money domestically to any bank account in Pakistan and pay mobile bills, loans, and utility bills.

If you live abroad and want to remit money back to Pakistan, you can send money directly to your JazzCash account! However, some services, such as traditional banks, charge high fees and weak exchange rates for this service.

This is why we recommend you use a third-party money transfer specialist instead. To save money on your next transfer, have a look at our comparisons below to find other services that offer better rates when sending money to Pakistan using JazzCash:

Find the best provider to send money to JazzCash in Pakistan:

Option 1: Digital Platforms

A digital money transfer service is the best way to send money to JazzCash. JazzCash accepts transfers from two excellent money transfer platforms, Remitly and Skrill. Unlike banks and online payment systems like PayPal, money transfer specialists offer low fixed fees and transparent exchange rates for remittances to Pakistan.

Available Countries

Remitly is available on JazzCash for remittances from many countries, including those in the EU, the English-speaking world, and the UAE (we share the full list of countries below).

You can send money to JazzCash with Skrill only from the USA.

If you are sending money from countries not listed above, then we recommend you run a search with Monito's comparison engine to find a money transfer service for a cheap bank transfer remittance to Pakistan.

To get started, sign up for Remitly or Skrill (the process usually is quick, easy, and free) and choose JazzCash as your delivery destination. Enter your recipient's account info as registered under JazzCash and confirm your transfer. The delivery is usually instantaneous!

We go through each option in more detail below:

Remitly

Remitly is a UK-based remittance platform that we highly recommend for remittances to JazzCash. We especially recommend the service if you send money from the USA, the UK, the UAE, Switzerland, or the EU because Remitly usually charges no or low transfer fees for these corridors.

  • Avg. Cost to Pakistan: ±1.5%
  • Available Send Countries: UK, UAE, EU/EEA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore
  • Unavailable Major Send Countries: India, Malaysia, Turkey
  • Transfer Limits: USD 2,999 in 24 hours, USD 10,000 in 30 days, or USD 18,000 in 180 days
  • More Info: See our full Remitly review or visit their website.

Skrill

Skrill is a mobile wallet that offers many features, including international money transfers. Between October 2021 to October 2022, Skrill averaged as the fourth cheapest money transfer service on Monito's comparison engine. It provides a flexible and easy way to send money to JazzCash from overseas. You may send money from the United States to JazzCash with Skrill.

  • Average cost to Pakistan: ±1.87%
  • Available send countries: the USA
  • Unavailable major send countries: EU, UK, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, India, UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey
  • JazzCash limits: 20,000 currency units per transaction
  • More info: See our full Skrill review or visit their website.

Option 2: Legacy Platforms

In addition to the savvy online options we discussed above, you may be interested in sending remittances from traditional players like Western Union and MoneyGram. Although legacy platforms are usually more expensive than online platforms, they are trusted worldwide.

If you choose this option, you must send money to your Pakistan bank account. JazzCash does not accept international money transfers from Western Union or Moneygram.

Legacy platforms may still offer decent exchange rates, such as USD-PKR exchange rates. However, we recommend you compare money transfer providers before your next transfer to Pakistan to check for certain if Western Union and MoneyGram are giving you a good deal.

Traditional Money Transfer Platforms Available on JazzCash

Let's go over the leading platforms in this category:

Western Union

Western Union is the largest and oldest money transfer operator on the globe, offering money transfers to Pakistan from dozens of countries across the globe.

  • Average cost to Pakistan: ±1.2%
  • Available major send countries: All
  • Unavailable major send countries: None
  • JazzCash limits: USD 1,500 per day
  • More info: See our full Western Union review or visit their website.

MoneyGram

After Western Union, MoneyGram is the second-largest money transfer operator in the world and also offers money transfers to Pakistan using JazzCash from a large number of countries worldwide.

  • Average cost to Pakistan: ±0.9% + $5 fee
  • Available major send countries: All
  • Unavailable major send countries: None
  • JazzCash limits: $10,000 every 30 days
  • More info: See our full MoneyGram review or visit their website.

Option 3: Banks

If you live overseas but have a bank account in Pakistan (or if you want to remit money to friends and family back home), then you can remit money to a bank account first. Then, domestically transfer that to a JazzCash account.

International Money Transfers Available from Banks to JazzCash

However, we do not recommend you make an international bank transfer from a foreign bank to a bank in Pakistan. Sending money overseas with a traditional bank is very expensive, amounting to over 5-10% of the total transaction amount in many cases.

Instead, we highly encourage you to choose a money transfer specialist to send money to a Pakistan bank account cheaply. Remitly ranked as the overall best service to Pakistan, while Skrill ranked as the second-best from October 2021 to October 2022. XE Money Transfer ranked as third.

Since rates change all the time, compare services in real-time with Monito to find the best international money transfer specialist for remittances to Pakistan:
