The current UYU-GBP interbank rate is now close to its highest level of the past 2-week period. Its highest level we saw during this timeframe was UYU 1 = GBP 0.0207 (only 1.42% higher than its current level of UYU 1 = GBP 0.0204), attained yesterday at 7:01 PM. The actual high value of the UYU-GBP is in strong contrast with the recent much lower value (UYU 1 = GBP 0.0197) observed on July 31, when a transfer of 4,000 Uruguayan pesos converted into only 78.72 GBP (the exact same amount converts to 81.43 GBP now).
