Chase is a good company. They have an app and try to have people do as much as they can without customer service. Either online or using the app. The problem is there are so many departments. You have talk to separate people about everything. The debit card person has to transfer you to the credit card person, if they don't know the answer they have to transfer you to a manger. There has to be a better way to handle stuff.

There were some fraudulent activity on my card three weeks ago Saturday and I’ve been waiting on a card every since. Everytime I contact chase with my personal information I get disconnected. The other day I had to lie and say I was opening a new account just to speak with a live person, who told me I was going to receive my card last Thursday. I have yet to receive a new card. This is such and inconvenience and I’m extremely unhappy.

Shady business and questionable integrity I have been a Chase customer for more than 10 years and I received a $300 bonus for opening a business account (The offer has a serial number that is only linked to the individual that is printed for and could not be transferred to another person). I went to the branch and spent more than one hour of my time opening an account for my business. After account was open and when the associate applied the coupon, system rejected me because there is another business that I am a member of that has an account with Chase. When i contacted Chase business team online via their web message board I was told that there is a limit of one coupon per calendar year (even though these two businesses are completely separated from each other). There was no mentioning of this anywhere on the coupon and coupon is applied after account is opened. If Chase marketing is going to issue coupon with unique serial number to individuals, then they need to research and issue the coupon to individuals that are eligible for the offer. Also they need to check for eligibility before they open the account. My time was wasted to open an account and I was cheated out of the $300 that I was promised after opening the business account. After the whole Wells Fargo incident, I would have expected that a large bank like Chase would correct its shady business and it seems it has not happened. This is an issue with Chase marketing tactics and its integrity.

I have had an account at Chase Bank for 22 years. However, tomorrow I will close my accounts, and I am taking my substantial banking business, for both myself and my company (which includes a merchant account) to another bank. Here's why: I lost my wallet two days ago and of course, have not yet received replacement cards and ID. Today I went into my Chase branch to make a small deposit to my personal account. I had my account's deposit slip and wanted to deposit just one hundred dollars to cover an incoming item. However, the Chase staff refused to allow me to make the deposit! It is absurd to think that a customer of 22 years, depositing only $100, is some 'surreptitious money launderer' that is subverting the IRS and duty to this country. Give me a break - this policy is unattached to reality! If Chase Bank's red-tape is wound so tight that I cannot even put a hundred bucks into my account, then I will take my business elsewhere. Say goodbye to a 22-year customer, Chase!
Chase has the best customer service! They are so friendly and helpful any time I have a question.

Sara Faetz at the Colorado and Yale branch in Denver is incredible. She's been helping us for the past two years with both business and personal banking issues. Sara and the whole Chase team are very thorough, forward thinking and have helped us with several complex issues. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I have had nothing but praise for all the tellers, Alan who helped set up a Roth IRA for me and David the new Manager who helped through some glitches in you system and Karen the previous Manager who took me out of aproblem when my Wife and I returned from Italy last year. The branch at 71st and Binford in Indianapolis should receive a Five Star Rating, I would say whom ever does the screening and hiring needs to be complimented! Our household loves Chase. We signed up for Chase with a basic account after Union Bank betrayed our trust not once, but twice. We have 2 savings accounts, 1 checking account, and 4 credit cards with Chase bank. We signed up for a checking account first, which had no fee with direct deposit. We keep very little money in that checking account, and we've never had a problem with fees. We were so satisfied with the checking account that we opened a second checking account and a savings account with Chase. One member of our household signed up for Chase first, so we got a bonus when we recommended a friend to Chase, it was free, easy money. The credit cards we opened during Chase promotions. We got anywhere from $50-$150 per credit card when you spent $500 over the first three months. It was easy to do because we used the cards to put our utility bills on. The points were ordered promptly and receiving cash back only took a few clicks. Now we have spare credit cards in case we ever have problems with one of them, which is a good thing, as we recently were victims of fraud, and needed a spare credit card around. In terms of their website, the Chase website is the most user friendly banking website that I've come across. All of our accounts are accessible in a single log in, and it shows the balance and statements for each one in an easy to use interface. You also have the option to e-mail customer service right then and there from inside of your account. I have found the agents that respond to the e-mails to be excellent at customer service skills, even better than when you visit the branch. A couple things to know about Chase: 1) Credit card sign up - if you sign up for more than 5 credit cards in 2 years chances are you will get denied when you try to sign up for your 6th and each additional credit card. 2) Website maintenance - the website undergoes maintenance during weird hours and seems unavailable when you need it the most 3) Watch out for overdraft fees - we had an account go overdrawn due to a bounced check and the fee was higher than other banks 4) The Chase Amazon card is AWESOME if you are a Prime Member because you get 5% cash back on all Amazon Prime purchases. I also love the fact that you can shop "with your points" in terms of cash back directly on Amazon without having to log in to the Chase website 5) Warranty protection - some of the Chase cards include warranty protection on devices, this is extremely helpful if you purchase a lot of electronics We could not be happier with Chase and wouldn't want to bank anywhere else. We have accounts with multiple other financial institutions, but Chase is the hands down family favorite due to the convenience, lack of fees, and the bonus offers

Back on Wednesday, August 4, 2016 at approximately 5:30 p.m., I went inside of the Chase Branch located at: 3183 Wilshire Boulevard Suite #199, Los Angeles, California 90005 (213) 249-9862 to make a deposit. Sadly, that Never Happened because the line was like a zoo with so many animals. It was so crowded that I would have had to wait for almost one full hour to get served. There is simply No Excuse For It, whatsoever! They Can Afford To Hire More Tellers to take care of the What I Call It, "Customer Population". I did complain about it and of course, Nothing Was Done about it! In my pictures, amongst all of the others that have been taken by various customers, please find examples of exactly what kind of Service They Operate. I am more than sure that Chase Bank can do much better than that! Since the line up was Not Getting any better and Neither was the Service, I just left the bank and we will leave it like that. I most likely will Not be going back to that branch anymore, but I do know that there are other branches where You do Not have to wait that long for decent, respectful, courteous help. Thank you. Sincerely yours, HPS Angry and Upset Chase Customer

I was going to write that they are a deplorable institution but serve coffee in the waiting lobby so I adore them BUT -- the customer service needs improvement, which would require a GREAT deal of improvement, the rater providing above a mediocre rating must have the ends of the stars reversed. I have experienced their fashion of customer satisfaction principles and this is the same institution that opened quick cash stores next to their closed banking offices a few years ago. Chase assisted in my filings through 1 1/2 years of the mortgage rate reduction program, then the report was returned that my resources woere not adequate to afford a 4.5% and would have to continue my 7.9%. HUH!! That notice is still in safe guarding and highly cherished. OH! I was eventually asked to leave their property but enjoyed each of the days of 1.5 years that the rent was paid! Doesn't change my attitude however, I would still chase them away from my dog's feed and water bowls!

We have had one Chase credit card for over ten years, and another one for a year. We have had excellent service from them. Their fraud detection and response is nothing short of amazing. More than once in all our years with them, some scumbag has compromised our card. Chase has been super quick to react and take care of the problem, getting us new cards quickly. Their website is really easy to use in managing one's accounts, from viewing transactions to setting up card payments. I download transactions into Quicken and have never had a problem. We briefly had a mortgage with them, paying it off after selling a house. We did all of the account management and payoff on line with no hitches.

Before I even realized I had lost my credit card (slipped out of my pocket on the train), Chase had me covered. They sent me a text message asking if I had run a charge for groceries for $154 at a grocery market in Brooklyn, with an option "reply 1 for yes, 2 for no". I replied 2, and got a message back to call this number to speak with a rep. The rep was very helpful, was patient in reviewing all charges from the previous hours (THAT'S how fast they handled this), cancelled all charges I deemed were not mine, and had a new card to me in less than 3 business days by mail. I don't know what my banking needs will bring in the future, but for now, I can't see myself using any bank other than Chase. Thank you!

I have my bank account with Chase, for over 11 years. I also had 4 credit cards with them. I closed 2 cards because of too high charges for everything: over limit fees, late payment fees, etc. I use balance liquidation program but it doesn't helps well too. It still too much charges, too high rates. Regarding bank account, sometimes I get $34 fees for overdraft that caused by credit card companies. And, sometimes there are 2 charges on same day. When I call, they say that even if I had funds to cover one debit/payment, there was nothing for another, so Chase charges for both. It is very unfair! Only once I got refund of one of such charges. And, there limit to get only 3 charges of $34 back. They never give refunds for 4th! It is terrible. And, Chase charges $15 for overdrafts when person has nothing to cover overdraft for more than 5 business days. Also, they charge $12 if there was no $500 direct-pay or less than $1500 all-month long. They also charge $34 in case of returned payment, so it is being added to even overdraft on account. Really terrible!!! Recently I got $997.98 overdraft because 3 credit companies took too much from my bank account. And, when others continued to try to charge, I got 2 times fee of $34 and no refunds. It was worst time for last 10 years!!! Also, because I had overdraft for long time, they said that will close my account and I'll be unable to re-open it. I asked all friends to lend me some cash to keep my bank account open. I work very hard and getting too much charges is terrible. I want to get some way to reduce fees when I earn not much. Chase have to do something to help people to pay less.

This is the most horrible experience ever! My husband and I have account with Chase for 4 years and everything was fine until we refinanced house this year and brought check from different bank to deposit it. We didn't want to do it through ATM or phone but took it to the branch so we don't mess up something. Teller accepted it with one signature and everything was fine for couple of days. I paid off bunch of credit cards and some bills. Well, right after that, they decided that check was "irregularly endorsed" (only one signature instead of 2) and my nightmare started. We were 10 days in minus with restricted account (and we both have direct deposits on salaries) and of course charged for fees on everything (Chase for negative balance, returned checks...). When they finally recovered account on Tuesday (they said they are going to do that previous Friday!) I just found out my account has been closed today!!! When I called customer service the answer I got was that they mailed me check. No one even bothered to give me a call and tell me what is going on. Not to mention that I can forget about 2 paychecks we got today. This is catastrophe!!!! I work for financial institution and let me tell you, this is not the way you treat loyal customers. To be honest, this is not the way to treat anyone! Thank you for making hell of my life for last 2 weeks (or more) because of your teller's mistake.
