WAKE UP - STAY AWAY FROM LycrRemit Transaction Details: Transaction ID : RA0001732257 , Transaction Date: 11/01/2018 There was no update. Now the transaction is showing as "FAILED". A new transaction was added to the list automatically with Transaction Date as 16/01/2018. New Automatic Transaction ID : RA0001773059 And the status was showing pending transaction !!!. Finally on 18th January, Got a call from LycaRemit customer care stating that the initiated transaction has been cancelled due to invalid account details. Hence the transacted amount will be refund to your wallet ASAP. The amount was returned to the Lyca Wallet. NOT MY BANK ACCOUNT. After 7 Days, the amount just came back ONLY to the Lyca WALLET. Then as soon as I realised it, I raised a withdrawal request from the Lyca Wallet on 18th January 2018. Still the amount not credited to my Bank Account. Wallet Transaction ID: EWT0000026188 Wallet Transaction ID: EWT0000026173 Transaction Date: 18/01/2018 MY QUESTIONS TO LYCAREMIT TEAM: A) WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR THE AMOUNT TO GET CREDITED BACK TO MY BANK ACCOUNT. PLEASE RESPOND. ==> DONT JUST REPLY THAT THE AMOUNT WILL BE REFUNDED TO YOUR BANK WITHIN THE ESTIMATED TIME FRAME. YOU HAVE TO SPECIFY THE TIME FRAME !!!! ALREADY 3 DAYS OVER SINCE THE WITHDRAWAL REQUEST WAS MADE. 11 DAYS FROM THE INITIAL TRANSACTION. ==> I WANT A RESONSE WITH CLEAR TIMELINE. DONT GIVE GENERIC RESPONSE WITHOUT ANY TIMELINE !!!! B) This is my fifth transaction, all the times, I have used the same source and target beneficiary account(registered in your site). My account is marked as GOLD, as I have provided all the Identification information which have asked in the past. How come only this time (5th transaction), the account details become invalid and transaction fail ? No explanation provided. !! It seems to me that a backend system failure has happened at your end and all the account numbers getting wrongly loaded in the background (looking at reviews from other customers). C) I am surprised why it took 7 days (5 working days) to get to this conclusion. After 7 days, the amount is being returned back to the Lyca Wallet instead of my Bank Account. D) No response to emails sent to customer care, no one to pick the phone, even after waiting more than 30 minutes multiple times on the customer care no. But you come and respond in a social website. What kind of customer service is this. No words to praise. I am in urgent need of money. Now stuck because of the mistakes of LycaRemit. X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X X Friends, would request everyone to read through all the reviews provided by so many people below. Understand the risk that you will be taking for a small difference in the transfer rate and fees. Then choose lyca remit to transfer money. I going to wait for one more day. If the amount is not getting credited to my bank account, I am thinking of taking the issue with the banking ombudsman [complaint.info @ f i n a n c i a l - ombudsman . org . uk] with all the details I have, emails, screenshorts and telephonic conversation with these guys. Financial Conduct Authority. LycaRemit FCA number is 900153. Gross errors by the company towards TCF policy of FCA, which should not be tolerated.

My Transaction (Id - RA0001737537) is pending since 12/01/2018. I tried contacting with company since last 10 days through email, customer care number. No one has responded yet (Really the WORST expereince). I read feedback from customer on Trustpilot, the company gives reason of customer security. But I thing I don't understand, if the company wanted to verify customer, why they didn't verify their customer before deducting money from bank account.

RC0000462981 Lycaremit.....Today i have already sent you by EMAIL (to your Customer Services) a further 3 months of Bank Statements & spoken to your representatives i. Oct/Nov/Dec 17 (I Did Send on Sat/Sun also) ii. Today 22/1/18, after ringing yourselves , I was told my Transaction was Cancelled because "October Bank Statement" was ommitted? (Which you didn't have to Do) iii. Anyway Hopefully.......My money can be URGENTLY+QUICKLY placed in my WALLET, so it can be Re-Sent again (to the Same Person) under a different Transaction Ref ID, ASAP I await your reply Rev Leon Richardson

These guys have had my money for over 10 days now. They asked for bank statement even though i had already uploaded it on website and am a gold member. After sending the bank statement, when I saw no progress, I called them. They asked for 3 months statement. After few days i got a reply from kyc team that the document has been verified and the transaction will succeed soon. After 3 days when nothing happened, I called them again and now they claim that the document sent was incomplete. Complete waste of time and they top it with mental harassment. It takes 30 minutes even to reach their customer care. This is the worst experience I have had regarding sending money. Now I am afraid If they will send the money or not as all they give are excuses.

Finally on 18th January, Got a call from LycaRemit customer care stating that the initiated transaction has been cancelled due to invalid account details. Hence the transacted amount will be refund to your wallet ASAP. The amount was returned to the Lyca Wallet. NOT MY BANK ACCOUNT. After 7 Days, the amount just came back ONLY to the Lyca WALLET. Then as soon as I realised it, I raised a withdrawal request from the Lyca Wallet on 18th January 2018. Still the amount not credited to my Bank Account. Initially my first 2 transactions didn’t have any issues. But this time I am too much worrying about my money. They have taken the money first then asked me to provide 3 months bank statements to process my transaction. I didn’t like to give my bank statements so asked them to cancel transaction. They did cancel the transaction after sending too many requests to them. But instead they refunding my money they kept the money in Lyca wallet. Who asked them to keep my money in Lyca wallet. They have taken from my bank account so I expect them to be back in my bank account. Anyway I requested for withdrawal of Lyca wallet as per their suggestion only. But this withdrawal status is under process since so long. Forget about the calls to customer service. Theirs is the busiest service in all over the word.You are the luckiest person in the universe if you get their line. It’s been 18 days that they have taken my money and kept with them. They are simply getting the benefits with these kind of holding money in their business. It seems they made their business rules for transactions/cancellations/refunds so lengthy to keep hold of our money with them for so long.

I made a transaction which shows transaction under process .i submitted all document what ever is asked by lyca and Kyc .got both mail and msg response like my account is successfully verified .still customer care said the document verification is pending that’s why transaction is pending.can you please let me know is it my fault that your team is not working properly.because of you my transaction is still pending and amount has been deducted already . Please clarify why transaction is still pending ??why we would bear the cost of your internal Team coordination..

I don't understand why lycaremit can't process money transaction whilst Western Union can do the job with same details provided in 2 days.All I can hear from customer service is receiver bank issues.This being going on for ages.I received pending transaction last night stated in 24 hours i'll receive a call but till now no sign of them.Better stop this service if you can't perform.Waste of time and money.

On verifying our records we confirm that initiated transaction has been cancelled due to invalid account details. Hence the transacted amount will be refund to your wallet ASAP." MY QUESTIONS TO LYCAREMIT TEAM: a) This is my fifth transaction, all the times, I have used the same source and target beneficiary account(registered in your site). How come only this time, the account details become invalid and transaction fail ? No explanation. !! The customer care rep is quoting a totally different beneficiary account no. He said that its showing only 7 numbers and hence the transaction failed. I ahve made atransaction couple of days ago and the money is still not added to the beneficiary account. Every time i make a transaction they ask for some sort of documents. I have submitted my passport, Visa, Gas bill, Electricity bill , Bank statement. Still my transaction is not processed. They ask for bank statements but their portal will not accept PDF's how silly is that ? if we email they don't reply back for couple of days. If we ring customer care service no one answers for until 40-45 minutes. Don't know what sort of organisation is this. I am fed up by calling customer care and emailing them. Hence using social media to grab their attention. My transaction ID is RA0001772468.

On 13/1/18 I did a transaction through Lycaremit and submitted the bank statement sametime before every transaction which they ask for. Now it's 5 days the transaction is still under process and they are not replying to emails. Yesterday I was able to spoke to executive after holding the call for 35 minutes but he said that it takes 2-3 days for verification of documents and 2-3 days then for transaction. If someone needs money urgently at home it takes 6-7 days for transaction through Lycaremit. The money has already been withdrawn from my account on 14/1/18. I am really very upset with this kind of service. I am thinking of switching to some other company. Sad to say but it's very poor customer service.

However amount actually is not reached beneficiary . Tried calling them since 2 days .You go on hold for endless time and no one picks up call. tried dropping mails more than 3 times,no reply received. Money is gone.

Already it has been crossed 4 days transaction initiated on 12-Jan-2018. Got an email from KYC team to submit documents of bank even though i am GOLD customer having a limit if 5000 GBP for a month,and with this transaction i have used 4000 GBP and still in the limit While writing this review i am in waiting on the queue more than 1 hour and hearing music only nobody from customer care is attending or responding and after sometime getting automatically disconnected. Terrible service and delays to tranfer the money . I dont recommend Lycaremit to anyone using I ahve transfered more than £7000 through lycaremit earlier and there has been some delays 2-3 days but the amount was transferred. However, this time, I was asked for the verification details (as always) and Lycaremit decided to cancel it due to technical issue. Now, they opened their own transaction and waited for one more week doing nothing. I received an automated email that CS will call me back in 24 hours which didnt happen. and when I called them up (Waiting on the queue for 25 mins) , CS told me that they dont have control over the automated emails and no one calls the customers from Lycaremit. Terrible. Now when I requested for rejection, CS cannot and gave me 2 options it may be credited to beneficiary or cancelled!. Terrible! This will be the last time I am using Lycaremit and recommend no one to use it. Transcation RA0001766683(15/1) and RA0001717806 (8/1) Hope Lycaremit delay no further and cancel and give back my hard earned money!

This was my first time with lycaremit and this is my feedback: Good things: - Best exchange rate for india atleast, always atleast rs 1 more than other famous sites - Simple interface Improvements: - Communication from lyca on status of remittance, what is happening ,when it will happen. even if they send emails, status is not aligned to what is actually happening - proper response from customer service, I never received a email acknowledgment. Even phone pick up time is always 20-25 mins+ In summary, great rates if you are not in a hurry - they take their own time. For me a Saturday debit card payment got credit in india on Wednesday(can give some levy as Monday was a holiday) but everyone else does it almost same day now. If they can fix it then it will be a good option for future

For the benefits of anyone who would like to do a bank transfer transaction to Pakistan via Lyca , my only advise is DO NOT use them please . I have done my transaction on 13/12/17 and till date 16/01/18 ,God knows where the funds GBP 2200 are .... Still waisting my time everyday to chase up from 4 weeks to know what is happening. I hope to sort it soon but i am adding my experiense so others dont get fooled like me...

I have signed up and uploaded my documents like 4/5 working days ago, my account is still on blue and i am unable to send money.I have phoned up twice and was told it takes 2 working days for the id to be verified . I have spent all day literally trying to call up today to ask why i am still not able to send any money as the account status is still blue. First call i spent 45 minutes waiting no answer so i left it , second call waited 30 minutes still no answer so i left it. On the third call i waited around 30 minutes still no answer, and now as i type this i am on hold it has been 14 minutes no answer. This is ridiculous. I dread to think what service will be like when trying to send money if it is like this at this stage

It works well, only if it works, but occasionally the transaction gets into 'pending transaction status' for no good reason even for the long existing customer and without any progress updates on the email for couple of days. This is happening to me, second time now. It takes such a long time 30+ minutes to contact customer care to get a response, on the pending transaction (wasting customer's valuable time). The email subject says 'Pending Transaction', while the email body says it's in progress and a secret code shall be sent shortly, adding to ambiguity. It neither says, if the customer needs to take any action or they would send an update, causing a great inconvenience and poor customer communication. If there are any issues with the transaction, either the email should ask the customer to contact straight forward, than to say things that are confusing like pending and a secret code shall be sent. The only good thing is that their forex rates are quite attractive that it's gets difficult to ignore them. However, if one is on an urgent need to send money, it's better to think twice to use a LycaRemit service, as it's unreliable, on the time it takes to get credited to the beneficiary's account. I think, its time to be cautious in using Lycaremit service and look out for a reliable service, with the equally good forex rates, where customer's time and transactions are valued.
