I was in India for a month and it was a nightmare to deal with ICICI badichawdi branch, kachiguda Hyderabad.They were rude and not willing to help. Each one tried to be smart and want to convince they have good knowledge of the banking system and pushing to buy their investment plans. I have requested them to change my mobile number and address and proof were supplied as requested original passport and license. Nothing was done for a week. They kicked me like a football and went for a lunch and expecting someone who has joined new will do the job but that has wasted two hours still my issue was not resolved. I have no other option but to call NRI ICICI and again they have requested me to upload my documents. My question is why they took my original in branch and scared that they can sell your identity as they want it again. Is it not a security and privacy breach.

ICICI bank looting customer’s money. I have an old account with ICICI bank. Few days ago I was at work and received a call from ICICI bank. I was in hurry to get back to work and I kept on listening to call and kept saying ‘ok’, ‘yes’ just because I did not wanted to be rude to them by hanging up (mistake). In call, it was said that your card will be protected, beware of frauds, with one call you can block your card etc etc. And some things in a very fast pace. (just like how in mutual funds advertisements, earlier they used to read the disclaimer very quickly. The line saying ‘mutual fund investments are subject to market risks….’ ) Then there was a confirmation call from different person. He used same trick. First he talked some non important things. After getting some ‘OK’, ‘YES’ from my side. He said a few lines in the end at the end in a very fast pace. And I said OK (or yes) again. BOOM I just made a purchase of Rs. 1899 and money got deducted from my account. And I dont know and did not intend to do so. I realized this later when I received this email Dear Customer, Greetings from ICICI Bank. your (New Policy)New Policy of CPP/OneAssist for (Privilege Single-Rs.2799)WA Privilege Single Rs. 1899 has been regd vide SR522966337 on 25-JAN-18. It will be completed within 1 working days. ‘Dear customer’ was very ironic in this email. Rs. 1899 was even more. I will have to work many many hours intensely to earn Rs 1899. I have never bought anything for myself so expensive. Moreover this purchase was of absolutely nothing of use or value. I did not enter my password, pin, not made any signature. And I was able to make a transaction (throw away money) just by saying a YES on phone (ease of banking). I guess they will be doing this to thousands of other people. By sharing this post, we can save some friends and other people from this scam and similar scams. Otherwise it can grow bigger, some people might be having their life earnings in their bank account, or money needed for critical things like medical expenses, education fees or for marriage. This is another example of shark (predator) eating small fish. We as a small fish (working people), need to inform other small fish of shark tactics.

Terrible company. I have standing instructions with Money2India to send Rs. 25,000 every month, on 25th. For Dec 25, 2017, the recipient has still not got the money. Every time I call, they tell me that they are having computer problem and money will be transferred in 3 days. They ask me when money was withdrawn from my US account, as they don't know. Today, ICICI rep told me that my account is blocked because they could not verify me. I had already sent driver's license, gas bill etc. on Nov 27. I asked what the problem is and she said she can't tell me because it is confidential. I asked what is missing and she said it is confidential. I asked what I can provide and she said it is confidential. She flat out told me that ICICI can't provide me any service and told me to find alternatives. When I spoke with her supervisor, he said that they need the copy of my Social Security Card. I asked him for the reason. He said it is for verification. What are you verifying? He said they could not verify my details based on my TX driver's license. I asked how they did that and he said it is not their database. I asked they can't have database of all driver's license of all states in the US. He said that they do. So, SSN copy is needed. I asked what you are trying to verify. He just said, it is required. Why? He said to verify the identity. I said I already provide SSN itself and why they can't verify that. He said they need the copy. Why? For identity. I offered them the copy of the US passport and OCI card to verify the identity. He said SSN copy is required. Under what country's rule SSN copy is required? US or India? He said US. I said I have opened bank accounts with 15-20 banks so far, no one ever asked for the SSN copy. Then he put me on hold and said it is per India regulations. What regulations? He said RBI regulations. How can Reserve Bank of India make a law to ask for SSN copy? He said, it is required. Why? It is as per our rules and regulations. How can ICICI make rules to ask private documents of people that are not to be shared? If I want to use their services, copy of SSN is required. I am done doing business with them. I have made alternate arrangements.

worst bank I have ever deal in my life. - their employees are also same they don't care peoples' problem and they talk super rude to customers, they don't even listen, customer's question. - service is too slow for every little thing these guys take two business days I don't know why? - nightmare for students at all never recommends to any student to open an account in this bank, you cant really use your money at a right time when you need it you will be stuck in, the middle from where you can't see apart. The government of Canada should cancel their permits, especially for international students. so that that can't play with students.

I am writing this review for ICICI Money 2 India. I have been their customer for about 10 years now. every now and then they keep asking for proofs. I dont understand why do they ask once in very few months.are you really asking for KYC document to validate the user or trying to misuse our documents. They took about a week and still not able to validate documents. No reason why they are not able to validate. nri@icici sends email to contact chat for further details and chat folks asks to email nri for further details. I asked to connect with a lead but no response. ICICI had dropped its services by employing some stupid helpdesk. I asked the chat personnel to connect me to a manager and he is reluctant to connect me to their manager or give the number of a manager. that clearly proves the level of service of ICICI to nri customers. I hope some one will give me a call at one point of time.

ICICI Bank just has become a place that is so large and huge, that they are acting like the Government. I have had an account for over 15 years, and now anything you ask them to do, is 'process driven', with 'no service care', with 'no customer service orientation' to the individuals. With a UHNI account status, and handling many other clients through ICICI Wealth Management Branch at Mehboob Studios, these team is just gotten an 'attitude' and it might also be supported by the 'management team' who usually should act as a watch-dog to see what is really going on. But, when a chicken is running with its head cut off, it runs all over the place not knowing where it is going, or what it is doing. Ultimately, it comes under a Ric and dies! Well, I am not saying that is the goal here, but Management at the upper layers need to wake up, since HDFC is right at the tails and Kotak and SC is no far behind to take this Rs200cr worth of total business away to them. Wake up ICICI Wealth Management and start providing value, or cease to exist as a "premier service provider".

Took a Car Loan with Zero Foreclosure Charges. When I went for Foreclosure, they asked to wait for 2 Yrs. else pay 5% foreclosure charges. All email and written correspondence with bank did not give any details of 2 yrs waiting period. The Salesperson at Bank for Car loan did not share any official sealed and signed loan offer and said that the loan is approved and no other document except repayment schedule shall be available. Had to pay Rs. 35000/- extra for not having any official document for foreclosure charges. All MII (most imp documents) which were signed were at bank and had a hidden clause which did not show that there is a waiting period for foreclosure of Loan. Bank Salesperson email reads Zero foreclosure charges on having a specific bank account with bank.

ICICI bank customer service used to be much better. I was able to speak to a rep by calling 866-ICICI 4U. Now, they have some automated service that keeps sending you from one sub-menu to another. You do not get an option to speak to someone. The system sometimes accepts account information and most times it does not. Most frustrating part is that the system conveniently disconnects you after three tries.

I only want to get my most recent statement . I know my password expired and went to their branch. None of the rep know their job.In order to get the GIC maturity date, I have to wait for 15 min. So they told me to get a password to go online but refuse to issue one their. I just spent over 20 mins on the phone, still cannot get the password!. The rep totally don't know what is the problem. It is the worst bank in my entire life.Don't ever think about to bank with them.

As been older person I keep my eye on the interest rates to get the best returns. Try to join icici bank, but was unable as my mobile number contradicted with another account after explaining to them and 4 phone calls that it may be my previous account from 2 years ago. They advise me that having the sort code and their account number. I could send money from my bank to icici. However, after several weeks and a number of phone calls and speaking to a supervisor. They phone me back on my landline left a message on the machine to phone them as the mobile number was now resolved phoned customer service asked reference to my enquiry. I explained that their supervisor asked me to phone back put on hold for roughly 16 minutes. This was a short time previous to other phone calls, she asked me to logon. Then she said, your mobile number corresponds with somebody else account back to the same story several phone calls closed my account received email in 24 hours, saying the problem was resolved. However, stressed enough without going through the same scrip no customer service. No structure if not straightforward.

Worst customer service. I wanted to open an NRO account. There website says, if we fill our mobile number in the form (or if we give missed call to some number) we get a call from their customer care within 15 minutes. I tried 10 times, I emailed to them, and finally received call after two days. However the lady on the phone was very unfriendly and without much details she just asked me to call some other number. When I called the other number (ICICI NRI customer care Bangalore) she asked me to give missed call to a number (which I already tried many times from previous day) and abruptly cut the call. In spite of having a savings account and NRE account, I could not open an NRO account at ICICI! Shame on them!!!

So accordingly money got debited from my credit card but at the same time message came from eazypay icici bank stating that my transaction got failed and the amount has been credited to beneficairy NIOS. But till now i have not got my money back in my account. I have also marked email to eazypay team...but not got any reply yet...This is very bad and fraud customer Service i ever had faced. Thay are simply fooling the people and doing frauds. They have not mentioned any contact...

Don't know where to start really, once I accept that this is an Indian Bank, but you cannot understand a single word that they are saying when you contact Customer Services and the whole process is ridiculous. Never ever again would I use this company and thankfully my one and only account that I have ever had with this dire company is now CLOSED.

Have been trying to open a New HiSave account since end of August and still trying, have had multiple emails from them and phone calls to and from them and no further on, now waiting for a supervisor to phone me, which will be the last contact with their customer service as I will be contacting their head of operations 9 Ranjit Nair direct to see if he can do any better than his customer service department.
