On 22nd Jan, 2017; just after sharing my feedback on Trustpilot, I got email reply from Lycaremit that your identity have been verified. I replied to that email to cancel my transaction and payback money, because it was too late to receive money, and I have already paid a late FINE for that. But company did not canceled the transaction and didn't pay me back. So when I was wishing transfer money that time the rate of exchange was 85.26, but company actually transferred when rate of exchange was 88.26, but I received money with the rate 88.26 only. Obviously profit has gone to Lycaremit. So due to company's process it got delayed and because of that I had to pay Fine, still company is not giving me my part of payment as per original exchange rate. This seems illogical. 1. Why company did not cancel the transaction even after my email has gone to them before transaction is completed? 2. Why company had not pay me the amount as per the exchange rate on the day of transafer?

Following up on my previous review regarding the transaction (RA0001837973) Remitter ID: LR0101503834 I have received the reply from the customer services team, however, I could not understand why the amount got deducted from my bank account if there is no mechanism to process that kind of transaction. The transaction could have been failed in the first place(a bug). Moreover, there is no transaction history showing up on the lyca remit website. I am still awaiting the refund to my bank account ( which still shows pending transaction). It would be really great if you can expedite the refund back to my bank account asap so that I can initiate the transfer by other modes. --I hope you take it as a customer feedback also to improve your services. Afterall, every great company is built on a great customer services support. Thanks.

It made me to write a review on it. I have been using it nearly 5 months. It has verified the documents for 4 times. The below is the strategy. I have made a transaction on 3rd Jan. On 4th i got mail that the transaction is under progress. On the same day i got another mail to verify the documents. I have sent on the same day. I have got reply on 6th saying that the documents are verified. I got the reply since i have called them. My transaction was successful on 9th. Similar story is happening again on the current transaction. I made the transaction on 25th. I received a mail that the transaction is under progress. I haven't got any update until 29th. I called customer care. They told that I have to verify the documents. But they have not sent me any mail that i have to verify the documents again. I informed that i have verified for the previous transaction. Then they said that "Okay. we will take the request and it will take 24 to 48 hrs." Later on the same day i have received another mail that i have to verify my documents with current address. Lycaremit doesn't allow to edit the address. You have to call customer care to change it. I called bank to generate one statement with current address. They generated overnight and sent me. Generally any bank will give statement in pdf. But lycaremit will not accept pdf through their website. I have converted through online and uploaded on 30th (today) morning. I called customer care again. They said address has to be updated in the website and document has to be verified and it will take 24 hrs to 48 hrs. I got a message during afternoon that the document is rejected. There are no reasons specified. Thus they make delay for almost every transaction and take approximately a week of time. Here are my questions. 1. why are you not allowing to edit the address and take a uploaded document to verify the address ? 2. Due to documents verification, if you are not able to send the funds to beneficiary, why are blocking the funds from the bank ? 3. If i want to cancel the transaction, the cancellation charges are £25 and it will take up to 30 days. Are you keep holding the money for long during to do your business ? 4. Why are you not supporting pdf ? Don't you know banks will be providing the document in pdf formats ? 5. Why do you want to do documents verification after the transaction is made ? You could have stopped to make the transfer. I have verified the documents only once when i used the other transfer websites. Why are frustrating the customers by verifying these many times. Do you have any special rules ? The only reason i use this lycaremit is because it has good conversion rate few times. Apart from that it is good for nothing. Even i had very bad experience with it's mobile network as well.

Being a regular customer of Lyca remit for all my remittances. Remitter ID : LR0101503834 The recent experience has been very frustrating. After sending many emails via the website also, nobody cares to reply or at least acknowledge my concern. I made a transaction on 27 Jan 2018 which could have completed within 1-2days.Earlier the status was showing (Under process) on the website and now that transaction has vanished from the history. I am not able to even track that transaction. Money got deducted from my Bank also. Sent many emails and still awaiting a reply. The customer service no. always takes 20+ min. to connect and the call gets disconnected. Posting here with the hope to get this issue sorted asap.

I initiated a transaction on 13/1/18 and after 4 days I was asked for some documents which I provided next day. After few days some more documents were asked which were also provided. After this also there was no response on the status of the transaction. At last, I had to cancel the transaction and now I am being told that the amount will be refunded to Wallet and then I will have to call customer care to get it to my account. This whole process will take 6-7 days. I don't understand when the amount was taken from the account then why its is not refunded back directly to the account. It seems that they want to hold our money for long time before refunding it. I am very tired of calling them on a daily basis. Moreover there 305 number is not working since last 4-5 days. If they continue like this, it is better to stay away from them.

With every remittance transfer, I find the service is getting worse, that in inspite of being a 'KYC Verified Gold Profile Customer', they keep the transaction on hold asking for the KYC documents and inspite of proving these info, they take their own time to respond back and without going through the email thread, they keep asking for the same information, that's already provided. This is the only remittance who keep re-verifying their existing customers, on random basis. I made to think that Lyca-Remit is unnecessarily trying to hold the customer's money longer with them, as every time, I need to chase them through emails or call up the customer care, before I get my funds transferred to the beneficiary account. Though their exchange rates are competitive, I'm made to think, that the hassles and the enormous delay, that I go through is not worth it. I regret that I had to chase my remittance every time with Lycaremit

After 6 working days pass on I didn't receive my money. Call customer service he added another 2 working days. It's really ridiculous. Not using again lycaremit. Not good customer service at all

I tried LycaRemit a couple of times before and the service was pathetic but the exchange rate they provide is decent. So, I thought I'll give it another try... I was wrong to have given another opportunity to these guys!! This time when I initiated two transactions, they asked for irrelevant questions such as 1) Why are you sending money 2) What is the relation to the person whom you are sending money 3) Send your personal bank account statements etc..etc...etc... I had already done the KYC requirements before so was puzzled/annoyed as to why are they asking these things.. And they ask for bank statements again and again! What for?? It has been 10 days since I initiated the transactions and >5 days since I later cancelled it (because of these fishy procedures) and I still don't have a refund which they will only give in their own wallet (not in my bank account). Go to other service providers who are more ethical and reliable. Don't be penny wise, pound foolish!!!

I have been a gold member. On 12/1/2018 I have initiated a transfer. On 14/1/2018 I was asked to send my recent bank statements and I sent them on 15/1/2018. It is already 23/1/2018 and still nothing has happened. It is almost impossible to get to their customer service. I will request everyone to avoid using lycaremit in future. This is a fraud company.

WAKE UP - STAY AWAY FROM LycrRemit Transaction Details: Transaction ID : RA0001732257 , Transaction Date: 11/01/2018 There was no update. Now the transaction is showing as "FAILED". A new transaction was added to the list automatically with Transaction Date as 16/01/2018. New Automatic Transaction ID : RA0001773059 And the status was showing pending transaction !!!. Finally on 18th January, Got a call from LycaRemit customer care stating that the initiated transaction has been cancelled due to invalid account details. Hence the transacted amount will be refund to your wallet ASAP. The amount was returned to the Lyca Wallet. NOT MY BANK ACCOUNT. After 7 Days, the amount just came back ONLY to the Lyca WALLET. Then as soon as I realised it, I raised a withdrawal request from the Lyca Wallet on 18th January 2018. Still the amount not credited to my Bank Account. Wallet Transaction ID: EWT0000026188 Wallet Transaction ID: EWT0000026173 Transaction Date: 18/01/2018 MY QUESTIONS TO LYCAREMIT TEAM: A) WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR THE AMOUNT TO GET CREDITED BACK TO MY BANK ACCOUNT. Financial Conduct Authority. LycaRemit FCA number is 900153. Gross errors by the company towards TCF policy of FCA, which should not be tolerated.

My Transaction (Id - RA0001737537) is pending since 12/01/2018. I tried contacting with company since last 10 days through email, customer care number. No one has responded yet (Really the WORST expereince). I read feedback from customer on Trustpilot, the company gives reason of customer security. But I thing I don't understand, if the company wanted to verify customer, why they didn't verify their customer before deducting money from bank account.

Oct/Nov/Dec 17 (I Did Send on Sat/Sun also) ii. Today 22/1/18, after ringing yourselves , I was told my Transaction was Cancelled because "October Bank Statement" was ommitted? (Which you didn't have to Do) iii. Anyway Hopefully.......My money can be URGENTLY+QUICKLY placed in my WALLET, so it can be Re-Sent again (to the Same Person) under a different Transaction Ref ID, ASAP I await your reply Rev Leon Richardson

These guys have had my money for over 10 days now. They asked for bank statement even though i had already uploaded it on website and am a gold member. After sending the bank statement, when I saw no progress, I called them. They asked for 3 months statement. After few days i got a reply from kyc team that the document has been verified and the transaction will succeed soon. After 3 days when nothing happened, I called them again and now they claim that the document sent was incomplete. Complete waste of time and they top it with mental harassment. It takes 30 minutes even to reach their customer care. This is the worst experience I have had regarding sending money. Now I am afraid If they will send the money or not as all they give are excuses.

Initially my first 2 transactions didn’t have any issues. But this time I am too much worrying about my money. They have taken the money first then asked me to provide 3 months bank statements to process my transaction. I didn’t like to give my bank statements so asked them to cancel transaction. They did cancel the transaction after sending too many requests to them. But instead they refunding my money they kept the money in Lyca wallet. Who asked them to keep my money in Lyca wallet. They have taken from my bank account so I expect them to be back in my bank account. Anyway I requested for withdrawal of Lyca wallet as per their suggestion only. But this withdrawal status is under process since so long. Forget about the calls to customer service. Theirs is the busiest service in all over the word.You are the luckiest person in the universe if you get their line. It’s been 18 days that they have taken my money and kept with them. They are simply getting the benefits with these kind of holding money in their business. It seems they made their business rules for transactions/cancellations/refunds so lengthy to keep hold of our money with them for so long.
