I placed an order for 3 things, all of which showed as in-stock. The items did not even get handed over to the shipper until TEN DAYS later. I emailed a few days before the items shipped, to try to find out what happened to my order. They didn't explain the delay, apologize for it, or even address the issue at all. They just said that they were not sure why I wasn't getting notifications. I won't be ordering from them anymore unless it is something I can't find elsewhere or don't care how long it takes.

We are continually billed for thing we don't order. Our salesperson, (R.G.) is very rude, and makes it very clear, by stating that he only deals with sales. I guess once a sale is made, he could care less, and he is sarcastic and rude when Newark makes errors that we, his customers, have to call repeatedly to correct. He is "kind enough" to transfer me, but the hold times are pretty long... we have two outstanding invoices they haven't corrected, and we have been trying for months.

I have placed multiple orders and the last two orders were NOT shipped on the date they said they would be shipped. They lie that the item will be shipped the same day. All they do is Print the label for UPS and say it was shipped. What a bunch of bull. The two orders met all the requirements to ship out and be picked up by UPS as stated on the companies website. The latest order was even place by phone and was told it would be picked up that same day by UPS. Once again like the last order only the shipping label was created but UPS had not picked up the package. I am so done with this companies lies.

I placed a business order online for a product, called to confirm it would arrive when needed, and had the order delayed 10 hours later due to a CC question even though the CC charge had been approved. To top it off the telephone support was rude and incompetent as well. This company earned a boycott from our company. Goodbye Newark.

I live in Europe. I ordered a diode of $0.4 and the shipping cost didn't appeared in the order. In the comments section I said I only wanted to know the shipping costs. The next day, they sent me an email with shipping cost of ¡$120!. As soon as the email arrived I started to try to cancel the shipping by all means but they are very slow answering mails (the only way to cancel). The order appeared as "received" when I sent my emails (a previous stage to completed and shipped), but they didn't answered my mails until it was shipped. It's their error because they didn't answered the emails, and it is their only customer service available without a telephone. ¿Conclusion? They didn't send me the shipping cost. When they sent it to me they were not available to cancel. Now I have a 100$ diode because of a bad customer service

The website said order in by 9:30pm ET for the order to be processed and out same day. My order was confirmed at 8:22pm CT - Made It. I paid so would receive by Tuesday afternoon. I had a lot of trouble with my login. Finally Tuesday afternoon I called customer service for status - without my login I cannot get status online. I was told that they were pulling my parts as we spoke. So much for quick service. My question is: If I had paid for Overnight, how many weeks would it have taken for the order to be processed?

Usually when I buy on the web, the shipping value is shown during the order confirmation. When I bought on this website, I couldn't check the shipping price during the order phase. Anyway I was expecting some further confirmation to know the price and then know If I could afford for that. The shipping price was 3X the product price. Summary: - I couldn't choose, how much I want to pay for. (not a "CLEAR" purchase procedure, even that is written in the Terms and Conditions). For me, the free and clear way to do that is the system should cancel the order if the costumer don't agree with the value or give a confirmation; - I lost my money, because, I couldn't pay for the product with taxes; - The shipping Company lost money, because they have to pay the taxes here in Brazil. The shipping Company (UPS) was great and the product arrived in time; - I'll never buy again on this website and even indicate this site for anybody.

I have purchased from Newark for the past 15 years. In the past year the lead-times for product and the customer care have drastically deteriorated. No longer are they my "go to" company. They no longer stock many items that have more than 12 week lead-times from the manufacturer and have now have switched how they do business so you're never talking to the same person so there's no great interest in making sure the customer gets what they need.

I noticed that Newark had quite a lower price on some items than Digikey. So I decided to try them. Big mistake. I called over the phone to verify that the parts I wanted were not in the UK. I was assured everything was local and there was plenty of stock (I should have noted the name of the person I talked with). I placed a Digikey order later that day. My Digikey order has arrived. My Newark order hasn't shipped yet. Why? Because a part is only available in the UK. They expect it to ship in a month. Huh? Of course I could pay for multiple shipping charges but sorry -- that's why I sat on the phone and verified the stock. I spoke with their customer support and was treated (in my opinion) poorly. Apparently they can't tell you the shipping charges. I feel like canceling my order. I will not order from them again.

I am located in Italy,I order some capacitors that cost 37$ At the time i checkout the shipping cost it was 0. I thought that was normal because also Mouser Electronics dont charge shipping to Italy. One day after that i receive an email that says that the shipping charge it will be 105$. Straight away i call them and i leave voicemail to cancel my order because i dont accept the shipping charge also i send an email that says "cancel my order i don't accept the shipping charge and i dont give you the permision to charge my credit cart with 105$. The day after i call and tell them to cancel my order,one hour later i receive an email that says that the package has left!! And after 5 minutes i receive another email from customer support that says that is too late now and the package has already gone.... The point is that they charge my credit cart with 105$ without my permisio!! That is unacceptable, that is what i call a fraud.
