The RON-AWG mid-market exchange rate is now close to its highest level of the past two weeks. Its highest value recorded during this timeframe was RON 1 = AWG 0.3742 (0.35% higher than its current level of RON 1 = AWG 0.3729), on August 2. This current high value of the RON-AWG is in strong contrast with the recent much lower value (RON 1 = AWG 0.3666) observed on July 27, when a transfer of 4,000 Romanian lei converted into only 1,466.25 AWG (the same transfer gives you 1,491.6 AWG at the moment - 25.35 AWG more).
