Comparing the highs and lows of the LKR-INR exchange rate, we can observe a very big change (exactly 2.79%) between the maximum level of LKR 1 = INR 0.2279 attained on September 28 and the lowest level of LKR 1 = INR 0.2215 we recorded on September 22. It is interesting to note that despite these heavy variations, the current LKR-INR rate is at the moment close to its average level of the past 14 days. Exchanging LKR 1,500 at the latest mid-market rate gets you INR 336, while it would have given you INR 342 on September 28 and INR 332 on September 22.
