This current high level of the JMD-GBP rate is in stark contrast with the recent much lower level (JMD 1 = GBP 0.0053) observed on June 21, when a transfer of 4,000 Jamaican dollars for example only gave you 21.34 GBP (the same amount converts to 22.06 GBP now).
