Comparing the highs and lows of the INR-LKR mid-market exchange rate, we can observe a very important change (exactly 2.85%) between the maximum value of INR 1 = LKR 4.5166 reached on September 22 and the minimum level of INR 1 = LKR 4.3877 we saw on September 28. It is interesting to note that in spite of these variations, the actual INR-LKR mid-market rate is currently close to its average value of the last fourteen days. Sending 1,500 Indian rupees at today's interbank exchange rate gives you LKR 6,687, it would have converted into LKR 6,775 on September 22 and only LKR 6,582 on September 28.
