The EGP-GBP rate is currently near its maximal level of the past fourteen days. The strongest level recorded during this timeframe was EGP 1 = GBP 0.0435, attained on August 5. This actual high level of the EGP-GBP exchange rate is in stark contrast with the recent much lower level (EGP 1 = GBP 0.0425) recorded last Wednesday, when sending 4,000 EGP converted into only 170.08 GBP (the same transfer gives you 173.29 GBP with the current rate).
