Its highest value observed during the last two weeks was BRL 1 = DOP 11.3874 (it is now only 0.49% less than that), last Friday. This actual high level of the BRL-DOP rate differs considerably from the much lower level (BRL 1 = DOP 10.5813) recorded on May 12, when exchanging 4,000 BRL only gave you 42,325.16 DOP (the exact same amount converts to 45,325.65 DOP with the current rate).
